Q: What do you mean by all-natural products?
I only use ingredients from nature. When possible I use ingredients that have been grown organically (grown without the use of dangerous pesticides), & always use only therapeutic grade essential oils.

Q: Do you use preservatives?
I do not use any synthetic preservatives in any of ByMonica Products. I do however use ingredients that are known natural ways of slowing the oxidation process. With my soaps and creams synthetic preservation methods are not necessary. With anything that contains water (which I currently do not have available for purchase) there is little that needs preservation and the quality essential oils used in the sprays help preserve. The main reason I do not make lotions is that without synthetic preservation lotions have extremely short shelf life and must be refrigerated in my opinion to be safe. Preservation issues are also the reason I only do spray products in small amounts that are intended for use within 45 days.

Q: Are your products good for acne/dry/oily/troubled skin?
o date I have not had one customer report that my product did not work for their skin type. It is possible I have not heard from everyone who has used my products. It does seem to be that people who have troubled skin tend to be those who purchase product(s) again.
All of my recipes are made with several things in mind 1; be good for any skin type, 2; have as few ingredients as necessary to achieve desired results. This is one reason why you will see one product labeled for varying purposes. Check on the website under particular products for my explanation of how I and many of my customers use certain products in my skin care routine. Though none of my customers have reported this to me it is said to not be un common for those whose skin is not used to natural products to have a ¿One-time¿ break out shortly after starting all-natural products. This is said to be due to the fact of ingredients in natural products pulling out toxins and petrochemical residue from between the dermal layers.

Q: How long is my product good for?
In general soap is good indefinitely, cream/balm products I recommend be used in a six month time period & all liquid spray products 45 days.

Q: How do I store and use my product(s)?
Some customers tell me they refrigerate their creams, though it is not necessary except for maybe in the summer or hot climates to avoid the cream melting & separating. Some just enjoy chilled cream on their feet. If it does melt some separation may occur. It is also extremely important (as with all personal hygiene product, natural or not) that one always uses clean hands and that you do not share products with others. If you do keep your products in the bathroom area always be sure packaging is tightly closed after use to avoid humidity from the air getting into the product to ensure good shelf life.
